No he shouldn't be in the hall of fame because he has seven rings. He makes big shots but that's all he does. Making big shots in the playoffs doesn't qualify you for the Hall of Fame. You really believe that his career #'s stack up to those in the hall of fame. He has averaged 7.2 PPG and 4.9 Rebounds a game. That's not a hall of famer it's a good bench player that makes big shots. Horry just understands if he misses the big shot he's not blamed for the loss, the stars are. If his teams lost guys like Olojuan, Shaq, Kobe and Duncan would take the heat for the loss.
Tom Sanders (8 Rings) and Jim Loscutoff (7 Rings) both played important roles in the Celtics Dynasty and are not in the Hall of Fame. Loscutoff's Jersey has been retired by the Celtics.

No. I'm not an Horry-hater or anything but he's really been nothing more than a role-player during his career. Granted, he's hit some big shots, big shots in themselves do not lead to hall of fame caliber careers. The most that he can hope for is that the Spurs will retire his jersey (I doubt that the Rockets or Lakers would). I see that as a possibility one, but who knows.

Absolutely not.....
Listen, I realize Horry now has 7 rings but that's because he played with Olajuwon, Shaq-Kobe, and Tim Duncan, not because Horry is a Hall of Famer.
Horry is a nice role player who's made some big shots in his career.
But a Hall of Famer....???
Nope.

Most definitely he should be. He is a great defensive player as well as a crunch time offensive weapon. He is able to make the clutch shots when all the pressure is on. Also, he probably would not have seven rings if not for his clutch shots.
FYI: It's Big Shot Rob now, he doesn't like bob so they had to change it.

no i don't think that he should he has never been a stand out he just happend to be on 7 teams that won the nba finals. Now on the other hand someone like Shaq should i mean yeah he only has four rings and 14 consecutive nba all star apperances and three nba finals mvp and more someone like that is more deserving

when he retires he will get some consideration...and I will tell you this, the Lakers would not have survived one, maybe two of those series with the kings during their three title run if not for some clutch shooting and play by Horry...you need to get your facts straight about that...I was a guest of the lakers for all the games in those series and without a doubt he was the primary reason the Lakers squeaked by the Kings... watch game film of those games and tell me they would have won those series without him...thats bull...

What for? He was never a stand-out in his career. Yes he made big shots but he is not his team's golden player. But there is a hall for him. Hall of shame for giving Stve Nash a cheap shot in their western semi-final matchup.
