I would like some help with very unique baby names. I dont know if it's a boy or a girl yet, so I need both. I just dont want my child to have a common name. Any ideas?

If it's a girl, the name Kaelani is beautiful. (pronounced kay-la-nee). You can spell it many different ways, like Kaylani, or Kaeloni, or Kalani. It's Hawaiian and it means "pure heaven".

For a boy the name Jace is a cool name I have not heard often. Jarin is a cool name too. I like them both. Jace means "moon" and Jarin means "singing".

It is nice to give your child a name then hear when asked "What's his/her name?"..... Oh that's an unusual name........ But be careful what you name your child. Names do have meanings, and knowing the meaning of some of these names is good cause some names you DO NOT want your child to have. Believe it or not, your name says something about you.

Your decent is also essential when naming your child...:-) Good luck finding a fitting yet unusual name.

check your family tree... Unique doesnt have to mean so off-the-wall that the child will be made fun of in school, or have to SPELL it to everyone for the rest of their life... And you need to realize that no matter WHAT you name the kid, people will shorten it to the easiest version. So even if you DID name it something "unique" like say ... Ambrosia... Everyone will say "rosie" or "amber" instead. Good Luck.
