Cut---no skin please.

Cut = circumcised, where the foreskin of the penis is removed so the glans (penis head) is permanently exposed. Uncut = uncircumcised, where the foreskin that every guy's born with is still intact.

As to which is better, that's a complex question to answer and a matter of debate for many people. People from a culture that circumcises (like the US) will likely say that cut is better, whereas people from a culture that doesn't circumcised (like Europe) will likely say that uncut is better.

There are instances where cut is truly better, and that's when there's something physically and medically wrong with the foreskin that couldn't be treated otherwise. Only about 5% of uncircumcised men develop any real problems with their foreskins, and only a fraction of that would require circumcision, so these instances are quite rare.

Many people erroneously believe that the cut penis is clearn/more hygienic and/or less prone to infections & STDs. Most studies show no significant difference in getting infections/STDs between cut and uncut men, and hygiene of the foreskin is very easy and quick. In most place of the world, hygiene would never be an issue. Furthermore, hygiene can also help minimize/eliminate many problems associated with a foreskin (for an example, see link 1).

The uncut penis does offer some advantages (assuming nothing's wrong). The foreskin contains many nerve endings that may contribute to sexual sensitivity (link 2). Furthermore, several studies seem to indicate that the foreskin may play a positive role in the sexual satisfaction/pleasure of not only the man, but the woman as well (links 3, 4, 5).

So in my opinion, if there's nothing physically wrong with one's foreskin, he maintains good genital hygiene, and he practices safe sex, it's likely that uncut is better (though this isn't universally true, as few things universally are).

They're both okay. Most guys in the world are uncut (uncircumcised) though. The USA is the last advanced nation still doing that surgery to over half of boys, although it's becoming a lot less popular (it's as low as 14% in some states compared to being almost universal before).

So circumcision is mostly a Jewish, Muslim, and a few odd nations here and there that practice it.

So if this were mostly a European site, you'd be seeing uncut in all those first posts... it's just whatever you're used to.

Circumcision (which makes you cut) was made popular in the USA by claims that it prevented masturbation... thanks to Dr. Kellogg, haha.

Circumcision's risks include loss of sensitivity/pleasure and masturbation difficulty according to various studies.

Nowadays people justify circumcision with "it's cleaner" although it's no big deal to pull back the foreskin and rub the head; it takes like 5 to 10 seconds. The other big reason is 'because dad is'.

Either way, enjoy what you have. Make the most use of it. Everything has pros and cons.

As for what's the difference. See the following link for an illustration. Compare yourself when soft because when hard they can look very very alike.

And the difference in words:

Uncut is the way nature intended us to be ~
but cut is working out just fine for me.

I prefer to have it left the way nature/God made it.

ADVANTAGES OF BEING INTACT:
--Circumcision cuts WAY down on sexual enjoyment for the man due to loss of nerve-rich foreskin. A new study proves conclusively, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that circumcision decreases sensitivity for the man. http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06685.x
--Getting cut causes the glans (head) to develop a keratinized layer to protect from rubbing on clothing, further cutting sensation. Many cut men are unable to ejaculate during intercourse and have to finish by hand. Intact men can go all the way.
--nine out of ten women who have had both prefer intact penises: http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html That's really pretty definitive.
--foreskin makes masturbation more fun - and better for your partner to play with.
--Circumcision hurts -- a lot -- when it's done, even if you are too young to remember it. Have a look at http://www.cirp.org/library/procedure/plastibell/ -- is this any way to welcome a child into the world?
--Circumcision, like other surgery, has a chance of complications. Each year a few baby boys have to have their entire penises amputated and undergo surgery to make them into fake girls. And a few die.

ADVANTAGES OF BEING CUT: Circumcision has NO advantages that are not fictional or only relevant in a few areas
--You can be just as clean if you are uncircumcised. Wash. It's THAT simple. Even if you're cut, you still need to wash.
-- If you're sleeping around, you need to use condoms regardless or you will get diseases.
--Some studies have shown a lower rate of cancer of the penis in cut guys, but this cancer is so rare that it's hard to get a good statistical sample. More boys/men die each year from botched circumcisions than from cancer of the penis.
--The US has the highest circumcision rate in the developed world and also the highest AIDS rate in that group. http://www.circinfo.org/hiv.html

As for the religious argument, many religious Jews are now opting for a bloodless dedication ceremony for their babies instead of a bris. And Christians are told in the Bible that circumcision is NOT necessary. Muslims usually circumcise. So if you're Muslim, get it done -- otherwise leave it alone!

some cultures/religions circumcise boys because of religious views, other people because its hygene, but it has been found that it has nothing to do w/ hygene. Also, having a cut penis reduces the feeling on the penis. but most men in the world are uncut.

Cut is better, for hygiene comfort, appearance to women, self-esteem and FAR better sexual sensation during intercourse for both the man and his female partner(s). There are NO disadvantages to circumcision.
