When my boyfriend and I make out he starts to sweat, and it very unnatural.
I don't want to hurt his feelings though by making him feel bad.
Is there an easy way I could help fix this problem or hint to a certain direction?

No you can't.
It's not un-natural...unusual, and occasionally off-putting, yes.
He could simply have a minor medical condition that means he wikll sweat alot more than most people, or he could simply be nervous.
Not making fun of it is the best thing you can do, although, if you are genuinely curious, you can - when well away from the heavy breating parts - politely ask...just make sure you tell him you are NOT wanting to hurt or embarass him, you're just curious. Simply plopping down and asking "Why do you sweat so much?" is not necessarily the way to go.

If the sweat starts reaching the point that you want to hose him and any room he's been in down due to the stench...he's hosting a few too many bacterial colonies. Frequent showers/baths will only treat the synmptoms. He may need medical assistance to treat the root (too much bacteria in the sweat).
Fun Medical Fact: Sweat has no smell to it. The bacteria feeding on the contents of the sweat cause the smell.

If it seems to be excessive, he may have a medical condition. Diabetes and high blood pressure both cause it. Tell him you read it somewhere (you just did) and you are worried about him.... so would he please see a doctor , even if he feels it is just to humor you. :0)
