That has to be just about the most IGNORANT question I've ever seen in here. Hillary not only is the BEST candidate running for president, but on the "Today" show this morning, even those who wish she would lose are now saying she's probably unbeatable.

We already have a lot of social programs in our state and federal governments: Welfare, No Child Left Behind, Social Security, to name a few.

Lots of countries have thriving economies with socialist governments and their citizens aren't leaving in droves.

America was very socialist under FDR and we survived.

We don't have to elect Hillary--she's already been the president in some ways. I really like Barack Obama and what he stands for. We would most definitely have a border control problem, as well as other problems, if Hillary was elected. "If" is the key word in this question! I think that she will not even get the party nomination. I may be way off, but I think that the Dems know that if she were to run, she would be waking up a lot of the grass root republicans that view her and her husband as . . . Canada is already a socialistic state, and I don't think that would be an option. I would rather move to Texas or Alaska (basically countries within our country)

Face facts. It will be a Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton ticket. The GOP has screwed itself so deeply into the dungheap that there's virtually NO chance of a Republican winning in '08. They brought it on themselves by losing site of what TRUE Republicanism is all about. Reagan and Eisenhower are spinning in their graves -- I can hear the buzz all the way in MO.

I wish one of you brainiacs who keep insisting that Sen. Clinton is a socialist determined to change our country into her own private political experiment would explain to me just when the Office of President received so much power. Will the Congress magically turn socialist and stand behind her while she takes our Constitution apart? She's too late. George Bush has already turned America into a socialist state. With millions of uncounted illegal aliens already within our borders, your tax dollars will now be used to subsidize these people - i.e. - spreading and sharing of wealth - which is what socialism really is.
