I only want to know how effective his sky hook shot was. I think his combined field goal percentage was .559. I'm ONLY interested in finding out the % for all sky hook shots.

I don't think anyone, not even Kareem, can give you the exact percentage. Not unless someone will watch all of Lew Alcindor's and Kareem's games and count the "Sky Hooks" he made and attempted. But I guess it's higher than his combined FG%.

Well b/c he was so tall and he released it as high as he possibly could it wasn't blocked very much at all, and he ws a master at it so I'd say it was a pretty high percentage but don't count on finding an exact number

I would venture that the closer he was to the hoop, the higher was his FGP. I remember cringing when he'd shoot it past maybe 12-14 feet, which he did do a lot.
The others are correct; that data is not available.

I doubt that anyone has that data.
From what I remember, though, it was a deadly shot.
