Usually it's my husband, but right now I'm mad at him, so he needs his own shelter from me, because I am the storm!!!!

Philosophically speaking. My gift to analyze situations quickly and see whats wrong or to get the hell out of there. My best friend is also my shield and he goes through a lot of it with me. He is also the one to fix me should I ever come through anything scathed. My intelligence is also another thing, also my battle scars from living life make me able to deflect some things.

my drive. I'll keep on going and I won't slow down. I'll walk right through it and never look back. I don't need no shelter to protect me. I'll blast past it, leaving a conspicuous trail in my wake. sure, I could just fly over it, but that wouldn't be as fun. I am strong. I have inside me hot blood. I have no rival, no storm can be my slayer. I'll hold my ground and I won't back down!

The fact that I know the sun shines brightly on the other side, regardless of how bad the storm.
Coincidently, no matter how bad the storm, it ALWAYS comes to pass.

my faith
it can shelter you from misjudgment, can console your soul against prejudice, can uplift your spirit when you feel you re not good enough. faith in God can make you feel worthy of your existence. faith on yourself can give you the assurance that the sun will shine every after a storm.

Knowing that I have these beautiful children that need me. It keeps me sane and on the right tract. I will do anything for them. Because of this I have a sense of belonging, and it makes me feel I have found my place in this world.
