Need a Child Sitter?

My name is *****. I’m thirteen years old (14 in *a certian month*). I have had experience at babysitting my youngest brother while our mother is at work.

My number is (***)***-****
My email address is: ***********@yahoo.com

The best time to call is around 4pm-8pm at night. I charge by the hour. The rate can be discussed upon the call.

I can baby sit between the hours of 3pm – 9pm. I am available every day, except Sunday.

I’d also like to setup and visit with your child before I actually baby sit. This will help me learn more about your child, to become more comfortable with each other, and learn about your house rules.

I am also available for:

• Pet sitting
• Mother’s helper

Thank you for your consideration!

I'm only going to distribute the fliers to my neighbors that I've known.

GREETINGS, Alyssa, looks good but just be aware there are perverts out there and some of them might call you, so I would have the person with the child come to your house to meet you when your mom is home before you just go to their house.

***** - That's a pretty name...lol just kidding. "I have had experience at babysitting.....should be "with babysitting." Don't put anything about cost ie: I charge by the hour. Instead write: rates are negotiable during interview. "I can baby sit between the hours of 3pm-9pm. I am available every day, except Sunday".....change to: I am available daily from 3-9pm except Sundays. I would appreciate an interview at your home where we can both learn more about each other.

You want the parents to feel that you are concerned about what they think of you, not only what you think of their child.

Good luck =)

Be very careful and if someone calls let your mom do the interview.I f you don;t know the people have your parents go with you to check them and their house out together,, Not trying to scare you but there are lots of weirdos out there so don;t meet or go there unless your mom or dad or family member is there with you at all times,,, good luck hope you get a good job babysitting, ps that's great your going to make your own money at only 14 god bless you.,.

the first part is good
i wouldnt put in the part about the best time to call
you can always call them back
wen you can babysit is good
if you really want to visit with the child then that part is good
but if you dont really want to then it is not necesary
the rest is good
however you may sould a bit to professional
i knwo that you want to sound professional
but i mean you are babysitting to earn money and also to have fun with the kids right
i mean who wants a(what sounds like) a robot babysitting their kids
i sent out fliers i think last summer and i only gave info that was absolutly important
like my name, phone number, and age
then i also put something catchy at the top
with clip art of 2 kids
it turned out really cute!!
and to be honest i got about 3-5 costomers that way
1 of them i babysit twice a week for
i am considering doing that again
because of the new neightboors but anyway
overall you sound to businessy and stuff
sorry if that is mean but u do
also get rid of the things that i mentioned and you will be fine
good luck!!!!!

NO you just gave way to much information about yourself and living situtation!

Just give them your number and tell them you are looking to pick up babysitting jobs and pet sitting. NOTHING else! When someone calls you can tell them rather or not you are available for the hours they give you and you can simply tell them you have experience. NO MORE information. Then have your mom / dad go with you to meet them and have the babysitting at your house only. Period!

Good luck.

that is pretty darn good. I would personally change the 'I’d also like to setup and visit with your child before I actually baby sit. This will help me learn more about your child, to become more comfortable with each other, and learn about your house rules.' to something like this:

When you interview me I would like to have your children meet me so that they can feel comfortable about me as well.

I think that is a great flier, if you will be 14 soon just put the age 14 on there. Other than that its great. I'd consider hiring you!

sounds great to me. except for maybe the sentence that reads the rate can be discussed upon the call. It just doesn't flow right. Maybe say something like I charge by the hour, rates can be discussed later.

I normally like things short and simple, but the way you have worded this ad, you would be getting a phone call from me for sure! Good luck!
