I can be dressed up or dressed down, and some people, mostly girls will reference me as a stripper?! I work in the insurance business, I don't carry myself as the look of a stripper, don't have big boobs, don't dress in skanky clothes, so what's the deal?

They are probably envious. Girls gossip about it each like crazy I wouldn't worry about it.

Ha, can you say "Jealousy"? We're girls, so we know how girls think and operate. There are times when we're envious of someone, most of the time, another girl. Girls are willing to say anything or do anything that will make a girl feel insecure, loose her confidence, and seem less attractive to people. Their jealous of something you have, most likely your beauty.
Basically, they're jealous and are willing to say anything that makes you feel inferior, which you're not and is obviously not working.
If you try and fight back, they'll be content because they know that they're getting to you. The best way is to ignore it, act happy, and act as if nothing is wrong. It'll only annoy them.

First of all, you shouldn't allow anyone to get away with that comment. If it's co-workers, you should threaten to report them if they say it again, and then do it. For anyone else, you you should respond "excuse me, what did you just say" and look at them like you mean business. If they repeat themselves, you should respond that the comment is inappropriate and you expect them to apologize. I don't understand though why different people would be saying this to you. Perhaps you can ask a trusted friend whether something your doing is leading to these comments.

they are trying to put you down.they are jealous bitches.
rise above it.
ignore them.
they are trash.
when they say that..just stop..stare at them and give them a withering look.
don't say one word..just stare at them like the garbage they are..
they'll get the message.
what you need is rhino hide..a tough skin so that whatever anyone says..doesn't bother you for one second.
you get that as you get older.

that means that you are just a naturally sexy person. It doesnt mean you dress sexy or anything. Some people can exhude sexiness just in the structure of their face.
