there's a lite-rock song- out there I don't know the name of but it sounds like Winwood or Daryl Hall--A group not solo act..It's hard to tell what they're saying....I believe that this song camed out in the 70s- 80s(Mid 80s)...Bread maybe?

I LOVE Daryl Hall......and Steve Winwood sounds NOTHING like him! And BREAD?! They don't sound like him, either!
Between these three artists, you are talking about many dozens of hits. A few lyrics might help narrow it down!
