I'm a minority woman that would like to start my own telecommunications (phone and network) business. I need links for grants to help me get started. I also need to know where to go to obtain a business license, and what steps I should take first. I live in California. Thanks in advance.

Go here.

Seriously. All the links you need, and you should find information on minority woman grants. Not to mention woman owned business grants and federal grants for small business owners.

Should get you started in the right direction.

Check with the U.S.Govt. site because they always have some kind of grant for start up of a new business. Also check with your local Chamber of Commerce and see if the City has any grants .

Business license, go to the county court house where you live. ALso, get an accountant to set you up your business, so Uncle Sam can get your TAXES - FIRST !

FREE money with G.W running the show, I don't think so !!

Times are HARD !! Its all about freinds and equity you have presently, this is the best place to start ! Good LUCK !
