I definitely dont hate walking in a cemetery. It could be peaceful because usually they are a good place to reflect. Cemeteries are a place of rest and sadly there aren't many places on earth that can offer that.

I don't often, but definitely every Memorial Day. It is interesting to see the different grave markers, from home made to ultra fancy and expensive.

It's interesting to see when people died. In the early 1900's so many were just babies. It shows we've come along way in the medical world.

It's interesting seeing the pictures of people on the headstones and how long people used to be married.

A walk through a cemetary does make you think and realize that one day you will soon be here. It reminds me of how much I loved my relatives and the good times that we had.

I wouldn't want to do this often, but once a year it is good for me.

I love to walk around the old cemeteries and read the headstones from the convict times.

I do often, I like to visit all the graveyards on my travels...
I live in the bush (outback) of Aussie and there are heaps of very small towns around, all with their own cemetery...
These people were the pioneers of this region and you feel something of them as you as you read their headstone and imagine what the country was like back then...
Blessed Be.. )O(

I haven't done it in a long time, but yes. There's a veterans' cemetary close to our house, and as kids we'd always take our bikes over there and ride around. It was very hilly and picturesque; also it was peaceful w no cars for us to worry about. We only rode our bikes on the roads (not the grass) and we stayed out of sight if we saw a funeral, so I think we behaved ourselves.

I do to one particular set of headstones. I go to Mary and Joseph Toth buried next to each other. one was only 5 months old and died in 1918 and the other died 6 months later one was born in may, one in novemeber. I suspect it was the great flu pandemic of 1918. Sad but interesting to think about, especially if they were of the same family which it seems they were some how. They both are right next to each other and both have tiny lambs on their tombstones. It also intrigues me that they were named Mary and Joseph. Hmm... just a lot to think about, and a lot to wonder about.

Yeap it is one of the places where I can talk a mile a minute and no one gets mad, no one rolls their eyes, and no one walks away. I also find beautiful artwork there on the older stones and it seems not so lonely among the resting souls.

Love to. They're so quiet and serene and kind of eerie. Never tread on the graves unless you can't help it though. It's an offence to the deceased.
