its all about the 'group mentality' thing.......they must do everything the same, like the same things, etc.........
if its popular and must have, they must like it
However, this is not true for ALL teenage girls....only the ones who think they must act like everyone else to fit in

well i disagree with your opinion. i think you are stereo typing. only because i happen to be a teenage girl. i listen to alot of alternative, 90's grunge, punk, and screamo. ive been to many punk rock shows, real punk like anti-flag, and ive been judged for it all. trust me, i dont listen to something because it's "hott" or "in". i listen to things with actual meaning and i dont listen to it because everyone else does. any questions, feel free to take it up with me.

because they think they need to impress everyone else by listening to the "hottest" music even though in reality it all sucks.
