So my internet will only not let me go on aim so i was going to try to delete it and reinstall. but i dont want my screen name to be deleted. plz i need help.

No it wont. your screenname is registered with aol and information is kept on their servers.

You'll have to set up the configuration again, but your screen name and buddy list will not be deleted.

Just reset your computer back to a time before your computer had this trouble. The reset is in Accessories and System Tools, then System Restore

Unfortunately no...AOL will keep your account active for millenniums, even if you would want it deleted.
