Ideally....the fastest CPU you can get, 3.8GHz (?), or a dual core (would be better). The most Ram your machine will handle. 2 GBs minimum but 3 or 4 GBs would be even better. At least a 250 GB hard drive (SATA). A top end Raedon or NVidia video card. Top it off with a 20" or bigger monitor with the best (highest) resolution you can find. Now....find around $3000 to buy it with....

Very simple: Go to an on line computer parts store and look through all the components. What ever is the most expensive is what you need. Anyway, you need to concentrate of a very good processor (Intel Quad Core), high end workstation graph card (NVIDIA QUADRO Series in SLi), gamer RAM (DDR2 or DDR3 Dual channel and at least 800MHz), hard drive space, and of coarse a chipset that will handle all that power. REMEMBER more $ = better performance. Also, if your doing this for work expect to spend $4,000 minimum. And only place to get that kind of computer is custom made or from nvidia.com
