yes he will. the manager is already playing hafner at 1b every so often to get him some work there in preparation for interleague play.

It seems all of the big DH's end up playing some position when playing the National league. Even David Ortiz played a couple games at first base last year. So it would be a big surprise if Hafner doesn't end up playing some of the NL games at first base.

Yes he will play 1st base when the Indians travel to DC. Garko is in a big slump right now as you stated, and the Indians can't afford to have Hafner out of the lineup.

Since there is no DH in the National League and Hafner is one of your top ten hitters in baseball I would expect to see him at first base when they play National League teams. The had a history of doing exactly that last year.

Hafner will most likely play 1b, they can't afford to take his bat out of the lineup.

yea he will def. play at least a game at first. they will use him as a PH later in the game for a pitch if Garko or even Victor is placed at first base... The Indians have such a versatile defense they have guys who can play more than one position and still win. Right now the offense is struggling but it will come around.

yes because Travis Hafner is doing fine but Ryan Garko might get of his slump.

Cle needs to keep his bat on the lineup. He might not start the 3rd game though. And he certainly will not start if his shoulder starts aching.

I hope not. Keep him out of the line-up so that Cleveland can lose. hehe....
