alright, well my boyfriend and i had sex on June 2nd. we used protection (condom) while we had sex and i'm positive it didn't break or anything. The question is if i didn't get my period in May and had sex (once) in June, is there any chance i could be pregnant? i still haven't gotten my period yet this month so should i take a home pregnancy test? and i thought i should add that i am also involved with sports

You may or you may not be. Its still possible to get pregnant with a condom on (I did). Maybe there was a rip or hole in the condom. Its just possible. Take a HPT just to make sure. If it comes out negative, wait a few days to take it again. If you still get a negative and still don't receive your period, make an appointment with your doctor. You might be experiencing something else. Good luck to you and I hope this helps! :)

Well, if you have sex you could be pregnant. It is possible although unlikely to get pregnant while using a condom, particularly if you didn't use it the whole time you were having sex... Sounds silly I know, but I had to at least mention that in case it was the scenario. If your period is late, take a pregnancy test and then you can rest easy with the results. It is not uncommon for women to have late or missed periods if they are very active athletically or have lost a significant amount of weight. Many Olympic gymnasts for example do not get a period simply because of the physical activity... Your body sort of protects itself from losing too much nutrients and this can be a way of doing that.

Yes you could be pregnant, also you don't have to have you period to ovulate. I am very active in sports and have not had my period for years and my daughters are 3 years and 15 months, also as for pregnancy test being accurate the only was I found out that I was pregnant with my oldest is with an ultrasound at 18 weeks along and as funny as it sounds I had no idea that I was pregnant at all.

you missed your period in may, when was the last time you had sex before may? and if your really really into sports it could be an imbalance in estrogen, gymnasts over work their bodies all the time and end up messing their cycles up for good, so i would start keeping track of my periods and go see a doctor, and im pretty sure you cant be miss your period before you get pregnat... unless you mean june of last year!! but that would be a lil bit to long a go, im pretty sure you would have a baby by now.

If you missed your period in May it sounds like you might have gotten pregnant in April. A pregnancy test would be in order. Also, spotting is common in early pregnancy and might be an indication that the conception happened and the spotting was when it implanted into the uterus. However, the spotting should have happened in May.

ok you did not get preg in june if your preg you got preg in may or before. i was athletic when i was a kid i started mine when i was 15. cause i weighed 85 and i am 5'3. mine were never regular. i took bc pills to keep it reg and not have 2 or 3 month. i would go and see a doc and get put on some kind of bc pill to regulate and rule out pregnancy test. you dont have to tell the doc anything if your scared taht your parents find out. your doc is going to have to take a preg test before he gives prescription for the bc pills.your cycles could be out of whack cause the exercises you do as an athlete. you know i mean.

Did you use protection when you had sex in June?? For peace of mind, take a home pregnancy test??? Physically active females tend to have lighter periods. Are you thin or have you lost/gained wt. recently?? I hope this helps!!

Did you have sex in April? That would make you miss your period in May if you were pregnant (depending on when, etc.). Just take a HPT, but you are probably not pregnant.

well, if you had sex anytime in May, then yes.
also, you could still be pregnant anyway even if you had sex with a condom - there always is a chance, even if you missed your period the month prior.
