Probably because you appear happier and more confident when you're in a relationship (particularly in the early stages) and that's attractive to women. Then there's the dark side of the equation: There's a segment of people that like to destabilize and attempt to take what you appear to have; those people to whom the saying, "the grass is always greener in someone else's yard" readily applies. Finally there's a probably smaller segment of catty women who don't like your woman for some reason and want to get back at her by tempting you. These are some potential reasons, but there are probably many more.

Generally, people are attracted to confident and happy people.
When you're in a relationship, usually you feel more confident, secure and happy.
