B
I just rinse them under water so the large particles and sticky stuff is off, then I put them in the washer.

B
Wash utensils first before the dish washer to get off stuckon grime.
Dishwashers are incredibly sanitary and once the utensil is washed and dry (air or heat) it should be put away to be used again. NEVER rinsed or wiped because it introduces bacteria again to the utencil.

B is the only way to go. If you put them straight in the dishwasher anything that does not come off will "bake" on and be harder to get clean later.
