when writing a song, where does the solo fit??

im starting to write songs and i know the basic stucture
verse
chorus
verse
chorus
bridge
chorus

where would a solo go???

The standard song has the solo after the second chorus, and posibly another one at the end, but, there's no rule about the placement of a solo, You might have more fun if you mixed it up a little and put solos in different places. Good Luck.
