Just got back from a weekend with my hubby's motorcycle club. We had lots of rain and it wasn't pleasant for some of the rode trip.
My question to you is: Is it about the journey or the destination? LOL

No matter where you are going, a good bike makes the trip worthwhile, no matter what the weather. Another way to say it, a good bike trip makes makes it worthwhile, no matter where or what is the destination. Anyone can take a plane, or a car, or a bus or train, and go anywhere. It is a measure of the person who makes the trip on a bike, no matter what the weather. In the old covered wagon days, the outriders are todays bikers, the others rode in the wagons.

Its the Journey ,Nothing like a full tank of Gas and getting lost on some of this Countries Back Roads ......Highways and Byways Little towns and Big Cities .5 Star Restaurants and Little Choke and Pukes and the people you meet on the way .Ride On !/peace

For me it was about the journey...I used to LOVE to ride whenever there was great weather, but even if it rained it was fine. I didn't particularly care for riding in the cold or in the cold and wet...if it was warm and wet..no problem.
Didn't matter whether I was alone or with a group - it's about your experience while riding...with people you know or solo. There's just something about riding to the top of the mountains to view the sunset - or watching the sunrise at the beach.

the ride for sure! i could care less about where i'm headed, unless it's sturgis then it's hammer down to there. rain is o.k.! seperates the people that truely love riding and the posers...................gotta take the good with the bad.

Haha, if you have to ask that question, then you had better stay home the next time. Motorcycling isn't for everyone.
