Commutative law of multiplication: a b = b a
Associative law of multiplication: a ( b c ) = ( a b ) c

Not being an expert,id say stick with patois's answer(it
may be good).
And dont forget, a famous(modern)proof
by kurt Godel;that Arithmetic is Incomplete;that is,the Laws
of arithmetic are incomplete.Now,what does this mean?
Since i have already asked this question on yahoo,and
got scant answers,i would tentatively say that Patois should
also have a try at answering that;only if "up" for it,though.
