to feed to a gecko so it doesnt eat the geckos insides....
does the mealworm still move/is it still alive if you cut off his head (do you use a knife or what) (it has to stay alive/wiggle in order for a gecko to like to eat it). I have a baby leopard gecko

I had a pair of Lepord Geckos and never cut off the heads of meal worms. It is the bigger segmented worms (Super Worms is what they sold by) that the pet store said to cut the heads off.

Don't cut the heads off of meal worms.

It isnt neccesary to cut the head off of the meal worm before feeding. Just make sure you are careful on how many mealworms you feed a small leapord gecko because the exoskeleton of the mealworm can cause the gecko to become compacted and constipated.

Thats an old wives tale. You don't have to cut the heads off anything. Chewing the worm and the stomach acids kill it too quickly to bite the gecko.
