Goodness. There are so many things. A book. Coffee (Starbucks. It's a sick addiction.). Being online talking to people I don't know. Being in front of a classroom (though that can also have the opposite effect).
But specifically, laying in bed in the crook of my boyfriend's arm has to be the most comforting thing ever. Oh, wait. That comes after a hug from my mom.
I could keep going, but I'll stop there.

How's about a bunch of somethings? My long johns (stolen from an ex), comfy tank top, my threadbare red cardigan, woolly socks, a good book, rain on my window, and my cat curled up on my lap. *That* is my idea of comfort. Throw in a cup of Earl Gray with milk and honey, and I am blissful.

a lot of things make people comfortable like talking with friends, family, enjoying good music, warmth, food, drinking but most of all laughing and a good joke or two and after all that just to relax...don't worry be happy, two great words relax and being happy...having a smoke...
