They had portable basketball hoop systems at my university. The systems they had probably cost about a grand and they were pieces of junk. No joke. If you do not spend a few grand for a portable basketball system then it will be a piece of junk. You can get a very good stationary basketball system for $700 - $1000 that will be very good.

Well first of all it is a hoop not a court, and yes that is too much because it says 699.99 right on the website. If your paying the rest for shipping, that is a lot for shipping, and you could get one one ebay for much less.

this basketball hoop is good, but if you ask me, I think it is a little too much, it's only a hoop, not a full court. I think even in this condition, it is a little too much.
Unless, of course, if you are a pro, and you really care about it, you don't have to have this one.
If you are playing basketball just for fun, I'd recommend one at around $300.

Yes it looks good but $850 bucks is too much for a hoop. You can get one for less at stores that sell sports equipment.
