I've been gone all day. Why are the R&S people invading?

I just got here after 3 long days in Orlando... seems there was a coup while I was gone...
This is why I should never leave....

Oh thank the gods you're back!!!
They came out of nowhere!! We tried to raise the drawbridge but we were too late!!
We've lost complete control of most of the outer defenses, but the main citadel is still intact, although I don't how much longer it'll hold.
So far, we've managed to evacuate most of the civilians through the hidden escape tunnels, but if they keep advancing like this we're done for!!!
