v8 camero or a jetta?

all these people are going on about how VW are much better quality and all that but the reality is, just cause VW is German doesn't mean its indestructible... as a matter of fact, the jetta is one of the least reliable cars around...they are super cheap quality and when they break, they break for good... its all or nothing and they're pricey to fix
the notion that American cars are crap for quality may have been true in the 70s when there was no competition and quality slid until imports from japan came in and were very reliable... but these days, most car companies produce very similar quality products.

but, like everyone else says, it depends what you want the car for... obviously a v8 is much less fuel efficient, but also a lot more fun... jetta has 4 doors, camaro has 2 doors... etc etc
but throwing a pair of snow tires on any rear wheel drive vehicle will help a lot in the snow so that's not that big of a deal...
just think about it and don't count the camaro out totally, cause that's a fggin sweet car and you'll beat most cars on the road

I agree with the previous answer, there is a big difference. You need to ask yourself what type of driving do you do, if you commute long distances, then gas usage is an issue, stick with the Jetta. Certain years of the Jetta had quality issues, as did the Camaro. If you are looking just for flash and straight line performance, go with the Camaro. Just be prepared to pay extra for all that performance, as tires wear out faster, winter driving is tricky etc. For good all around usage the Jetta is a better bet.

ummm i really like the jetta new and older model....but a camero is really fast and would be fun to drive.........but because of the gas being so much $ i would go with the jetta

Jetta also is an all-weather vehicle (Camaros are lousy in the snow) with better MPG -- with gas over $3.00/gallon that starts to matter.

depends on what you are looking for,if you want the power get the camaro,but personally i would still go for the camaro it's american made so that is it for me
