You see this in every game in the majors. What do they talk about? I know, they are just being friendly, but EVERY player gets along with EVERY first basemen? Does anyone know for sure?

The hot babes in the third row behind the dugout.

Where to get a good steak in this town.

How ya doin'? (if a long-acquainted veteran), or
Wait til ya see his fastball. (if a rookie)

The eye-candy supermodels in the second row behind the other dugout.

I figure they pretty much talk about anything. Catching up on old times with former teammates probably. I've heard it's also a ploy to throw off the baserunner's concentration by keeping him busy talking.

Because they have nothing better else to do then talk. Maybe they are goofing about who has the biggest jock strap. Its got to be family and best eateries and a occsional bet if the runner could steal second.

Sean Casey (aka "The Mayor") loves to talk to base runners. he is just being friendly. Sometimes they talk about thier family. Other 1st baseman just talk to distract the runner and keep him off balance.

Often times it is about the pitcher or other teammates. There is also lots of party planning for after the game.

Maybe they talk about life, gas prices, their family, how their hand hurts from the tingly thing everyone gets when they hit the ball, or maybe something about the umpires, or maybe the first baseman is congraduating the person for getting a hit
or something. idk. but i guess they get along becuz they arent enemys like everybody says. the teams dont make up the enemies the fans do. idk y, but they do. not all fans. im a yankee fan and im INNOCENT!!
