My grandmother told me that it was unhealthy to let my little dog sit in my lap because the heat generated was bad for female reproductive organs? Does anyone know if there is any truth to this or is it just an "old wives tale"? Thanks!

It sounds like an old wives tale. I think there would be a lot of pet owners with reproductive problems if it were true.

I easily have a white miniature poodle who would be 5 in July. She is one annoying doggie. She too will shake while she sees or hears something she would not comprehend. She used to shake as quickly as we'd leave for some hours to bypass paying for, and so on. I do think of she is greater advantageous now nevertheless. She loves us dearly, we are her total worldwide, and that i've got faith she likes a relentless way of life, without adjustments and threats. Poodles are between the three optimal sensible breeds of canine, the different 2 being the German shepherd, and the small collie, I overlook its real call. i think of their intelligence makes them by some potential great delicate little doggies. If I have been you i could purely manage him lovingly, purely as you're doing, and at last he will quiet down and settle in, like my canine seems to be doing.

HA HA, not true. My Great Grandma used to tell me that if I sat on the cold concrete porch I would get hemorrhoids. I don't have any.
