I just want to make sure that I am reading this poem correct. I feel like Lines 25 & 26 are one example of death; just intensified. I'm just not sure about another one.

From the very first line, the speaker admits that he is talking about things that happened "many and many years ago." Repeating the word "many" emphasizes the amount of time that has passed since Annabel Lee's death. This encourages readers' suspicions, since memories, especially extremely pleasant memories, are often idealized versions of reality. In the third stanza, the poem makes a point of mentioning once more that there is a considerable distance of time between the events being described and the speaker as he is recalling them. It becomes even more difficult to believe that his brief, youthful love affair could have been as pure and beautiful as he describes it.

There are several emotions at play in Poe's "Annabel Lee". Yes, the poet is mourning the loss of Annabel Lee. That is an intense emotion - grieving.

There is definitely love. This is an intense emotion. The poet mentions how both were children and there love was innocent and pure. The love was so wonderful that angels above were envious or jealous.

Envy and jealousy are intense emotions, too. In fact, the author explains that the envy of their love was so great, that "kinsman came and bore her away". Even though this happened, the envy continues as you read in the next stanza.

Another intense emotion or feeling is memories. In the final stanza the author explains that there is never a time in the evening that he does not stop thinking about her. His memory of her is intense, too for whether the moon is out or the stars or when he is lying down to bed, he still thinks about Annabel Lee. He truly loves her and will carry that love forever.

Um, well, Love is the obvious other intense emotion, but aside from that... for as dark and dreary as Poe's works are usuallly found to be this seems rather happy and dare I say contented although his loved one is apparently dead.
He is in acceptance..
So, I'm not sure if you would say 'Happiness' is one of these other emotions, though it's a thought...
