Help With Freshwater Angelfish!! I don't know what's wrong..?

Question

Ok. I have two angel fish (freshwater) one is pure silver while the other one is silver with a little bit of black.. they're really agressive so we put a barrier between them.

Just recently the pure silver one has gotten really fat, she's blown up like a balloon and while the other one is getting more narrow and whatnot, she's very wide.

What could be wrong with her? Please help...

She's dead... It turns out that she didn't really live much longer than when we noticed how bloated she was.
When they were fighting, he would try to rip off her fin and she would cower in the corner. FYI.

Take a very close look at the fat one. If it has scales standing out from it's body in the area of it's belly, it's a very sick fish and should be started on antibiotics asap if it is to have any chance to live. I would suggest Furanace or Furan-2.

If this is nt the case it could be you have a pair and are seeing the female getting heavy with eggs. That would also be supported by the aggression. When angels begin to pair off, they appear to be fighting.

Sounds like you have a pair! Congratulations! Was the aggression things like "lip wrestling" and chasing each other high-speed around the tank? Perfectly normal courtship behavior for freshwater angels. A torn fin here and there and a few missing scales are par for the course with these guys. I'd let them continue without a barrier so they can peg out a territory they like for egg-laying. She could be distressed or nervous unliking her enviorment. Try a pet store or somthing near you.
