You can buy headphones for your iPod anywhere. The iPod uses a standard sized 3.55 mm plug. You can find that size in any store that sells them - WalMart, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, Radio Shack, etc. Unless you want one a pair with special features (enhanced sound, etc.) you can find them very cheaply.

okay for the past year i was buying an average of 2 sets of headphones a month. i have tried out almost every one and they always break. All i do is listen to my ipod on the bus to school! I have finally decided to buy apple headphones. they are the ones that came with the headphones. they were 30 dollars at target. but since you still have yours take them to your local apple store and they should give you a new pair for free. so if they break, keep taking them back for new ones! this solved my problem and hopefully it solved yours

It won't affect your ipod, but the wires in the headphones surely shorted out because of the water. You can get a new pair made by ipod in stores like Wal-Mart now, or opt for a cheaper pair... Sorry about that =) Best of Luck!

Try the dollar store, works the same, and just a buck. Make sure you buy one capability with ipod, I think it tells you on the front.

I suggest researching on Apple.com, because there are user reviews... then when you find a model you like, search the web for a better price.
