Bush isn't the only reason your gas prices went up. If you really want to do something about it, convince your state to lower their gas tax. The government makes more off that gas than the oil companies do.

Why ? You donated it. A campaign contribution / donation is not a loan. You can deduct them with a receipt so in a way you did get paid back partially. As an earlier answerer pointed out, yes the taxes on gasoline are more of the cost than the refinery, service station, or oil company receives. Therefore one should be demanding that if the oil companies are still making record profits, whats the Govt doing with the tax money they are getting ?

you did get paid back...your alive with no attack on us soil from al qaeda. you got two tax cut checks...oops i forgot, being the good pelosi ite you are...you sent them back(fat chance). you also didnt seem to notice that the pelosi reid regime canceled new energy exploration tax credits in favor of ...peanut storage..read that pork barrel..farm aid. and dont forget the clinton montana land grab of the late nineties that rezoned over two million idle acres in the middle of montana used for shale/oil exploration environmentally protected, setting energy back twenty years...oops,forgot to mention their blind trust had an interest in a competing company to the one exploring there. oh well...as long as your doing the liberal whine, dont you think you should understand what your whining about? have a nice day..lmfao.
