I used to be a home health nurse and I visited this lady for IV infusions, and she literally had boxes and newspapers, magazines, books, cartons, etc. stored from floor to ceiling in her house, with only pathways wide enough for a slim person to get from the front door to her bedroom. In her bedroom, it was more of the same. Half of her double bed was covered, and there was a "channel" through for her to view a T.V. and only a small pathway to travel through to her bathroom. Social services became involved (because she had a serious psychiatric condition that caused her to hoard things, though she was very "normal" in other respects) and eventually she was committed.
Every time I visited her, I would marvel at how someone was able to live that way, and act like it was normal.

The door would open only six inches. It was blocked by debris. You had to turn sideways and suck in your breath to enter.
The debris was waste deep. I never knew about the dining room table until much later. It was buried. How would a person navigate this room you might ask? Why, a path of course.
The path was waste deep and went across the room to the paths connecting to the other rooms in the house. The rest of the house was worse than this one. The junk was piled shoulder deep in the store room. Food in the kitchen was so old it did not even smell anymore.
The natural color of the toilet was blue. A little bit of it still showed. The rest was black. The worst room? This whole place was nasty. I found the guys homework from fifth grade.
A motorcycle had been completely disassembled. This place was like garbage dumpsters were emptied here.
The dude who lived there stuck to the couch.

My neighbor's son. He's two years older than me and he's pretty nice, but three years ago I pet sat his family's dogs. Well, one of them went on a diareah rampage through the house. I had to search the house and pull out the carpet cleaner everywhere I found some.
Well, when I got to his room, I almost passed out. The poo only improved the room. He had Candy wrapper, half eaten fast food, soda bottles, and other crap all over the floor. His bed sheets were scrambled around the room and it smelled.
I never petsat there again!

the floor is the between the main considered necessary issues to maintain sparkling. each thing falls to the floor. flooring get grimy quickly with airborne dirt and dust, airborne dirt and dust, gunk, crumbs, etc (all this is entering into your clothing in the event that they're on the floor... eww). Get some hangers and a shoe rack or something. It has no longer something to do with being "arty." this is laziness.... no offense. no person is appropriate. this is one element you could boost, and it basically takes approximately 5-10 minutes an afternoon, and you will experience extra suitable approximately your self for doing it.

No contest. My son's when he came back from the Navy. There were dirty clothes all over the place. Couldnt even see his bed. I told him once he could be in there dead and I wouldnt know until it really strarted to smell. Didnt work. He had to sleep in the living room-no room for him in his bedroom. He'll be 40 in September and his girlfriend cleans up after him I dont know how she does it.

My daughters room....
When she was a teenager, we lived in an apartment. At Christmas time, I had nowhere to hide her presents, where she wouldn't find them. I came up with the brainstorm idea of putting them in her closet. SHE NEVER FOUND THEM !
She was just dumbfounded at the fact that they were in HER closet for 2 weeks and she didn't know ! :-)
Just a footnote: Her bedroom carpet was always the cleanest in the house...

my brother's It's one thing to see dishes or dirty clothes-it's quite another to see mold. I can't go in-it makes me gag. Plus after seeing a used condom on the floor-you can't pay me to go in.
