I have a 1.5 bedroom apartment (the other "bedroom" is a fairly large room but has no windows/ventilation/sunlight).. and Im thinking of getting a rabbit as a pet. Should I keep it in the main bedroom, the extra bedroom, the bathroom (not ventilated either), or the kitchen? Help please

You should put it in your main living area, the room in which you spend the most time. I have two rabbits and they are VERY social creatures. You shouldn't lock them away in a room where you are going to see them every day. They like to be a part of the "family". If you must put them in a bedroom, I would suggest it be the one you sleep in, although, rabbits are generally more active in the evening and early morning.

The rabbit might have escaped someone's yard and gotten hit and still managed to drag itself to your patio before dying. You would be surprised at how tough a largge rabbit can be. As for the removal, does the apartment complex have maintenance people checking the grounds for litter left out by people having parties on a Saturday night ? Ask at the office the next morning. It's good to report this in case there is a stupid prankster living in the complex if that person has been pranking other people.

the rabbit doesn't really need ventilation. i would probably be happier not living in the dark but i think mostly out of the way of drafts would be best especially in the winter.
