One time there was a group of us in school doing Ouija board,(I was only watching) and the glass spun out of control, falling off the table. One girl caught the glass and her nose instantly started to bleed! Scared as hell, We all ran off down the corridor (about 12 girls ). We were all about 13 at the time! Never been around such craziness since.

It is true you can buy an ouija board in the game section at the local hobby shops, I do believe it is manufactured by parker Bros. There are also very expensive handcrafted wooden boards out there too, but either way you go-- it is a scrying device (simmilar to a crystal ball, pendulum, and black mirror). If functionality is all you are striving for, you CAN make an ouija board out of a large sheet of paper and a glass. The device its self does not hold any special powers or energies-- it is simply a go-between medium. Personal (and spiritual) enegries flow through them, just as in a wand. A fancy wand is no more powerful or better suited than a plain branch picked up off the ground, as long as it has been cleansed of chaotic energies.
As for what you can expect? It all depends on what kind of energies you (collective "you"-- as in everyone involved in the reading) are projecting at the time. A group of teenagers just experimenting or playing around without grounding personal energies properly, or enters into the reading projecting negative energies, the chances of attracting negative energies are quite good. Attracting "Demons" (or daemons) that will haunt you is not likely, but I will not say that a negative energy or thaughtform WON'T attach to you. All in all, although it's pratically sold like Monopoly and checkers, I don't recommend it's use by just anyone because although the chances of something really bad happening are pretty slimthe possibility IS there. So you'd be better off leaving the "spirit contact" to those of us who know what we're doing. I am not personally fond of the ouija board myself, I perfer the rider waite tarot, runes, and black mirrors.

First of all it's not so much the board game but rather what your doing! You are opening a can of worms!!! Meaning don't fool around with the unknowing unless you are prepared to face what may or may not happen.
Stranger things have happen when in use. I first hand have seen some pretty weird stuff, not pleasant and something I will never forget.

I personally think they are demonic and can open doors to things you don't want to have to deal with. I used one when I was about 9 and it worked. But I didn't know any better then.
Since then I have learned about demons from the bible and religious teachings and would NEVER use one. Do your soul and your household a favor, nix the idea. The curiosity isn't worth what you could be getting into.

It's actually supposed to be pronounced "wee-ja" because it is a combination of the French word for yes, and the German word for yes. Oui + Ja.

I think it does, played it once with i guy i didnt know and asked the board my bday...it got it right....i didnt move it cuz i wanted to see if it worked and there is no way the guy could have known when my bday was. Plus the lights alllllwwwayyyss flicker when we play it!!!! Thats why i believe it actually works. The best thing to do is play it outside so no spirits remain in your house!
