OMG! that is my sisters birthday! that is so cool! lol. ok well every year on her birthday for the past 5 years it has been a snow day. (meaning that there is also not school!! she says that it is a gift from God...) so if it keeps up there will probably be some snow. (and she also lives in Massachusetts....but a little towards the middle of it...so yea)

(and by the way....did you know that that is Groundhogs Day??!)

Absolutely not, sorry. Due to Chaos Theory also known as the butterfly effect, which states that small changes in the input of a system result in cataclysmicly large changes in the output (the flapping of a butterflies wings in Brazil will cause a monsoon in Asia). In other words meteorologists will not be able to predict more than a few days in advance for the next 50 years. Even then they might get to 5 days. The 7-10 day forecasts on TV are useless because they have no idea. They might be able to predict some form of rain for the 6th day but not with confidence. After 48 hours all weather forecast accuracies drop 90%. A farmers almanac is the best you can do, but its a guess. Congrats and I hope it doesn't snow on you unless thats what you want =).

Modern meteorology is good but storms develop with in days not months or years. They (meteorologists) can only see so far into weather patterns because they can only see what is forming and happening now. They have no idea if a thunderstorm or a snowstorm will form next February in any part of the world. The best one can do is look at average weather patterns from years past.

Massachusetts in February? Snow? Yeah, probably.

you cannot know for sure...you can go on line and check out what the weather was like in that area for the last 10 years and estimate what it might be....also look up the farmers almanac...it usually will say if it is going to be a light or heavy perception winter...but no you cannot get a exact weather forecast....heck they cannot even do it for tomorrows weather let alone almost a year from now...

Good luck on your wedding.

thats way too far so yeah meteorologists wont be able to know but still if they get a big guess they could really get it wrong.

you could try a farmers almanac...which in my opinion isn't that reliable...but no, there really is no way to know unless you're god or something..sorry
