married. wife was out of town for work, not at home.
If you think it is cheating, please explain how a stripper dance show is different than a nude cabaret show, like the Moulin Rouge or Crazy Horse in Paris?

No contact lap dance in the sense that stripper does her dancing, but you are not allow to touch her.

It is not cheating, if there is no sexual contact. Women who feel that it is are trying to control their husbands / boyfriends.

It is entertainment. You are watching a show!

If a woman is so insecure in a relationship that she is threatened by you looking at another woman, that is something she needs to deal with.

If I told my wife (of 27 years) that I was going to a strip club with some friends, she would not have a problem with it! The last time I did, her only comment was " Have fun, don't order take out!!"

A relationship is built on trust, not one party controlling the other!!

Well it all depends on if you plan on telling your wife you had a no-contact lap dance! It's cheating if your in a commited relationship. So many people make this mistake and have people say it's no big deal. Well your wife is going to think its a big deal especialy if you haven't done it before when she was in town. It doesn't matter if your with friends or not. Friends usually get the married one's in the dog house at some point in time. Since you are worried about it now then you know she's not going to take it well and you are wanting for people to tell you it's no big deal so you'll think you did nothing wrong. Would you like it if she got a lap dance from a naked man and didn't wasn't planning on telling you? What you did was disrespectful to your wife and so cheating. All I know is your going to be in some trouble when she finds out. Best she finds out from you then someone else. Trust me the truth always comes back to bit you in the butt at some point in time.

Did you tell your wife that you were going? Why did you go when she was out of town? To me, it seems as if you knew she would be unhappy about it. If you didn't tell her, you were cheating. No matter what it is still inappropriate. If you are happily married, why would you want a strange naked woman to dance all over you? Go home and be with your wife. You know, the woman you promised to love, honor and cherish or were those just words you said because you had to?

We could reverse this and ask you how you would feel if your significant other did the same?
I personally do not believe in them, Strip clubs, because your wife/GF should be enough to entice and excite you....
If I feel naughty, I ask my hubby to strip for me and he always obliges my whim. I would rather slip a dollar in his g-string than some nameless person who makes a living selling their bodies to get through life or school.
Also, i find many of them are intelligent and should or could do something better with their lives! My friend Alex was a male stripper, and he was doing it to get through college, and for fun. He ended up being a pilot for one of the major airlines and now has lost all of his hair and has a beer belly.

well, it wont be cheating if your girlfriend allowed it to happen. but in my point of view, i think that it is immoral to go to a strip club while you have a significant other. overall, its not cheating until you come in contact with the stripper, but it is not right and could cause further problems later down the line within the relationship.

No, it is not cheating. My friends (who were/are married) and I used to go all the time. Their wives always knew. If the relationship is strong and honest, there should never be a problem.

One question: how do you have a no-contact lap dance? I think the name is self-explanatory: "lap" dance. I have never experienced a lap dance without some contact. Who knew?!

Not cheating. Just disrespecting.
Not disrespecting if you told your wife where you were going.
You chose to do so with asking how your wife feels about it. You are selfish. Your need and want outweighed the respect for your wife's feeling. Capisce?

It is if you lie to your wife about it. That is for both parts of the question. If your wife is fine with it then, no. If it is something that she is very insecure about then you need to sit down and talk about it. My huband and I only go together.

I say, in my opinion, if they are married, it is cheating. It's staring at other girls for pleasure. When you could just go home to your wife for the same things. It's cheating.
