Picking out names is so difficult, so I thought I would share my five favourite names with you. I also included some other information such as origin and meaning, because the last thing you want is to discover that your child's name means 'ugly' in German or something like that. It's a lot of fun looking for the meanings of names, and I was really surprised to discover that 3 of my five top names have religious meanings! Anyway, here they are:
1) Carla. This is my all time favourite name - it's just so pretty and girly! Some say it's a Dutch, German or Russian name but it is in fact of Old Latin origin (so it is Italian I guess). It means 'little and womanly' or 'little womanly one'. It could also be regarded as a variation of your own name. Carley and Carla make a very cute combo!!!!
2) Elizabeth. A lovely traditional name. Of Hebrew origin. Mean's 'God's Promise'.
3) Mischa. A nice and exotic sounding Russian name. The female form of Michael meaning 'gift from God.'
4) Sienna. Obviously Italian as this name means 'from Siena' as in a person who comes from the Italian city of Siena. Also a colour and now, a really pretty girl's name.
5) Jayne. A classic name but the 'Y' in the middle really gives it a touch of class and elegance. The feminine form of John, it is of Hebrew origins and means 'the Lord is Gracious'. And of course, there was a very popular Jayne - Jayne Mansfield. Also works well as a middle name e.g. Carla Jayne, Elizabeth Jayne.....

One may give you a list but it will be just that a list. I will tell you to try www.babynames.com and find a name you like but also make sure you you know and like what the name means for example: Abigail means Joy Of The Father or would you like her to hear beloved friend ex. Aimee.
Just remember a person believes what they hear. Example I would not name a boy Damien which means To Tame, Subdue.
