Has anyone here experienced a real ghostly encounter?

Question

Like if you thing there is a ghost at your house etc.
I am not obsessed wiht ghosts. Just tell me if you have experienced something scary that has to deal with ghosts etc.

In our old house, our great grandma died in my room and great gradpa died on the couch. There is always weird things going on like the cabnets opening and sometimes you can see a faint outline of a body lying on the couch if the light is dim. They werent bad ghost either. Every night before we went to bed, we would watch the candle go out itself. Some night it didnt but it happened often. NO fan, no open window or A/C.

Yeap got the Sixth Sense at times going on. Sometimes it is scary like when a picture comes off the wall straight out and then hovers before smashing into the floor. It hovered probably about five seconds or so. Or you see someone you know darn well has been dead a number of years. I hate when they just sort of pop out at you. I think they have a twisted sense of humor. My grandma visited the night she died. It was an eerie experience and one I will never forget. I am sure I could go on for a bit but well that's enough for now. I will say that the house where I am at is the one I grew up in. My dad died back in 2001. He still comes around here sometimes. That just makes me sad to know he's there. I worry he isn't at peace for some reason.

Between Christmas and New Year's 1982, a girlfriend and I experienced four separate entities in our apartment. They were not in your classic ghost form, but more of a cold to chilling cold presence. The event continued for slightly over four hours and involved far too much to convey to you here. Prior to that I would have laughed at anyone who believed in such - no any more.

Not all experiences are scary. Spirits are only scary if you are scared of them. Almost everybody will experience something even if its little and they don't notice it.

P.S: Ghosts prefer to be referred to as spirits.


EDIT: there is no such thing as Demons. They are just spirits that have taken the wrong path.

Yes, I was in a very old house (called Treetops) in Provincetown MA. A lady in a flowing dress and floppy hat walked into the room where I was lying down, looked right at me and then disappeared.

yes ive had tons of experience with ghosts! ok i tell you about when i was home watching tv, at the corner of my eye i saw a dark shadowy figure walk from one room and to another, i went searching for it and it vanished out of the bathroom. it looked scary as it was all black and you couldnt tell if it was male or female, my hunch is it was male

I have never seen an aparition...however, I've always been sensitive to energy levels and I do feel energy when it is near me. Since I do not hear voices or see figures, it's quite possible it's just energy levels and nothing more...but I think it's ghosts.

Yes I have had some real ghostly experiences in many home.. Some were just dis-embodied spirits that are not to difficult to deal with, and there were a few demons that can make where-ever you are a living hell. Before they are exposed for what they were and banish back into their world, with having them do to much damage... WRITE AFTER MY GRANDPARENTS HAD DIED THERE HOUSE WAS GIVING TO MY COUSIN AND HIS FAMILY.THEY LIVED THERE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS.AFTER THEY MOVED OUT IT WAS TO BE TORN DOWN.I WENT IN THE HOUSE AND I COULD FILL SOMEBODY WATCHING ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE HOUSE.-
