now let me explain myself farther when i met this man whom i married amonth ago i had been in his life when he had the accident which has left him totally disable an yes i did take care of him for way over a yr even to wiping his --- for him he could not do any thing as both arms an hands were broken an leg also hurt what i need to know if after my having find that his bottle is more important than i do i have any grounds to recover any of his money that will be awarded to him if indeed we break up i have only been married one month to him but actually been together over a year an a half
an to any of you whom thinks i am out to get him think again i married him for love only love but also think i should be entitled to some of the law suit money he will receive now answer again

I wouldn't know if you would be entitled if you left before he got any of the money. Sometimes it can takes years to get any money at all from a lawsuit. I feel for you that he has taken a different route with his life since he was hurt. It can turn around for you both. He could be depressed and that is the reason he turned to the bottle. I do hope you and he can stay together, you both have been through a lot together.

I am in the middle of a lawsuit and he doesn't have to give you anything. That is not earned income and to be honest this sounds a little too mean to me. Why would you marry him and a month later ask for money? The judge is going to frown upon you. Furthermore you need to talk to a attorney. If your married and your relationship is good then his money should be your money. Something doesn't sound right here...

you don't even deserve to get it, he hasn't supported you for a lifetime, that is what money like that is for because a person will never be able to work again. You are a selfsih you know what! get a damn job and your own life, obviously you don't love him, you just stayed with him to get his money. if you dont want to be with him right now then leave him
what are you still doing with him. get him a nurse and leave. go support yourself and go to college and get a job!!!
