What kind of stores are in The Mall of America in Minnesota? Is it a big mall?

I'm going to Minnesota next week to visit U of M and while we're there, we're going to The Mall of America. is the mall really nice? do they have nice stores with decent prices?

The mall is actually 7 acres large..it even has it's own police station and wedding chapel located inside. There's an amusement park complete with a log flume. There are trees and plants everywhere that are kept healthy by natural methods such as ladybugs, since pesticides can't be used indoors. It was constructed to be a climate controlled evironment in a state that faces blistering cold more than half the year. You'll find anything you could ever want there.

I would definitely visit the Mall of America if you have never been there. Bloomington is a suburb of Minneapolis, and there are tons of things to do in that area! The Mall of America has tons of stores to shop in, a movie theater, a great aquarium and an amusement park, so there really is something for everyone in your family. Fairly close to the Mall of America,Valley Fair, a very fun amusement park, is in Shakopee, Minnesota. There are several hotels in the Mall of America area, as well as all over Minneapolis, and it's easy to get from point to point using the bus system or the metro. I would recommend flying rather than driving so you can spend more time there having fun. All major airlines fly into the Minneapolis airport.
