My older brother is a stupid idiot.
His fiance is pregnant with his baby and has something wrong ( I cant remember what its called but the baby will be born with insides on the outside) So any way I get a call from his fiance crying because he was gone all night without calling and blew 500 dollars on crack.
My brother has a serious drug problem that he wont acknowledge, he has lost all his friends,his family although we love him we try to avoid him because he begs us for money or steals it. (He only contacts us when he wants money)
I told my dad we should grab him and lock him up somewere to detox him but dad ways thats dangerous.
Please any serious advice will be much appreciated.
By the way I know nothing about drugs since I was never an idiot to that degree but 500 dollars on crack, he either got a hell of a lot of crack or was seriously jipped. or is it always that pricey?

Your brother needs whats called an intervention. To be put in rehab for his health and safety and the health and safety of others around him. As far as the baby that's heart wrenching but I do believe with surgery it can be helped. Best wishes.

This man desperately needs professional help, as a previous answer said 'he is sick'. Try to get social services involved is all I can think of IF he will not voluntarily go to a detox unit.

First off, he didn't spend $500 on one night's worth of crack or you would be burying him. Secondly, make a decision- A) Act like you care and lock him up, or B) Don't act like you care and worry about numero uno.
