call your doctor first before you take anything.
A friend of mine refinished her floors in preparation of the new baby...she stripped and sanded and varnished the oak floors..her baby died..Doctor said it was the fumes. Please call your doctor before taking anything ...also you could be in labor.

You can safely take any gas-x type product that contains simethicone and that might help.
If the gas is caused by specific foods like beans or broccoli, etc., try Beano.
Also, papaya enzyme is supposed to help with all kinds of digestive issues.
General digestive health advice that may help: eat plenty of fiber, drink LOTS of water, and get at least some moderate (like walking) exercise every day, and avoid refined sugars. Also, pay attention to what you eat to see if some foods make it worse.
Good luck!

believe it or not the "Very" best thing for what your going through are called "charcoal tablets" and yes you are actually ingesting charcoal. It helps with digestion and with gas and is perfectly safe for the baby. My doctor recommended them for me when I was pregnant. You can find them at any walgreens or cvs pharmacy over the counter. They are not too costly either.

Try Tums or Rolaids....they are safe during pregnancy. But if you are having severe cramping...... and abdominal pain..... you probably should see a doctor soon.
