Bro, if it wasnt for Shaq, Kobe would have no rings and Wade would have no rings. Shaq has a huge effect on the game just by being there. Right now Shaq isnt nearly as good, but when he was with the Lakers when they won their 3 championships, he was the best player in the NBA. Go Look at his playoff stats from 01' and 02'. Then look at Kobe's.
2002 NBA Finals Lakers vs. Nets:
Game 1 SHAQ 12-22 FG's 36 pts 16 rebs 4 blks 1 stl 1 asst
KOBE 6-16 FG's 22 pts 3 rebs 0 blks 1 stl 6 asst
Game 2 SHAQ 14-23 FG's 40 pts 12 rebs 1 blk 0 stl 8 asst
KOBE 9-15 FG's 24 pts 8 rebs 1 blk 2 stl 3 assts
game 3 SHAQ 12-19 FG's 35 pts 11 rebs 4 blk 0 stl 2 assts
KOBE 14-23 FG's 36 pts 6 rebs 2 blk 1 stl 4 assts
game 4 SHAQ 12-20 FG's 34 pts 10 rebs 2 blks o st 4 asst
KOBE 7-16 FG's 25 pts 6 rebs 0 blk 2 stl 8 asst
Go look at the rest of the playoffs too man.

Shaq made it to the Finals without both of them when he was on the Magic. When Shaq made it to the Finals with the Lakers he averaged at least 30ppg and 10rpg every series. He was the dominant player. Besides, nobody can win a championship by himself. Jordan needed Pippen and the great supporting cast, Duncan needed Manu and Tony Parker, and Shaq needed somebody too. Even if Shaq never played with Kobe or Wade, GMs would've put the necessary players around Shaq in order for him to win. Shaq has made it to the Finals with three different teams, and has won three Finals MVPs, so he is doing something right.

This is a stupid question. Its goes both ways. Shaq wouldn't have any rings without the other and the other wouldn't have any rings without shaq. And shaq/kobe or shaq/wade wouldn't have any rings without their supporting cast.

umm, howabout if it wasn't for Shaq, Kobe wouldn't have 3 and Wade wouldn't have 1?
Shaq 3-times Finals MVP
lets not forget, the year Shaq went to Miami, they get the top record in the east and Shaq is runnerup to Steve Nash for reg season MVP

Shaq wouldn't have four rings...
But judging by Kobe's recent run... Pre learning how to pass and post learning to pass... He wouldn't have ANY rings...
And Wade... He wouldn't have one either...
Shaq promised to bring the title to Miami and he did that.
I disagree with you.. If it wasn't for the group of players Shaq has/had around him, he wouldn't have four rings... I will not say it was Kobe or Wade that allowed Shaq to earn those rings.

You think that.
Fact is neither Kobe, Wade, or Penny have been
to the finals without shaq, he has without all of them.
No go cry like Kobe, and go to the east coast and play
against bad teams and then lose in the finals.
Kobe had one more thing to say
Waaaa Waaaaaa , I was not hugged by my Mommy.
Raja I am sorry.

If it weren't for them he might not have any. Shaq was good in LA but without kobe the lakers wouldn't have made it to the finals. At maimi d-wade was the main reason for a finals win.

Without Kobe, he would probably have won only 2 rings in LA. Without D-Wade, he would not have gotten the one in Miami. So he'd have 2 rings.

Shaq was going to win rings regardless who was on his team. You think if Shaq was paired with Ray Allen, Tracy Mcgrady, Vinc Carter, etc. that he wouldn't have won a ring?
