you will need an RX, unless you have one at another store. they could transfer it for you if thats the case. as for a doctor who will prescribe the shot without seeing you, i cant think of one. try family planning? give em a call during a lunch break. hope you get what youre looking for.

For medications like the Depo provera shot, you should talk to your doctor and get it perscribed to you. There are lots of positive things about the depo shot, and lots more negative. The risk of osteoporosis and clots increase with the depo shot as well as weight gain, hair loss etc. I gained weight each time I got the shot, and I know someone who lost all of her hair from the shot as well. Some people have no side effects but some people do. Another friend of mine was still ovulating and getting her menstrual cycle while on the depo shot. It is something that you need to talk to a physician about for sure. Make an appointment and see what he/she says first. If you do not want to miss work, try your local hospital, some doctors there with perscribe it to you, just make sure you weigh the pros and cons before deciding anything.

Hello,
You can only get the depo shot in a doctors office because after you get the injection you have to wait in the office for at least 15-30 mins to determine if you have any allergies to it. There is no pharmacy that will administer the shot to you, most physicans that prescribe the depo will administer it in office.
Good luck

You will need a prescription. Not only that you would need a pelvic exam and consult with a doctor before being prescribed anything.
Why do you want to put this poison into your body?
Please don't take the shot.
There are class action lawsuits against Pfizer for what that shot does to women. I'm appalled its still on the market and being administered.
I was on it for four years of HELL. Please check out the links below for more details.
I am on Kariva (pill) now and NO side affects at all! Please look into pills or some other alternative and not the shot.

Even when you order prescription drugs online, a doctor still has to write you the prescription. The only way you are going to get a depo shot is to see a physician or go to a clinic.

been using depo since 1994 and I have never purchased it on my own from a pharmacy. Either my college health center provided it, or my current doctor's office does. They have it in their supplies on hand in the office. I have never received a perscription for it.

Usually you have to go to a doctor's office so they can administer the shot to you there.
