It is false because not all words are in their databases. Also, I had one change a correctly spelled obscure word to another word which made no sense in the sentence.

Strictly speaking, yes. However, they won't catch a wrong word if it's spelled correctly and they will catch a correctly spelled word if it's not on their word list (in the dictionary).

It did not check your ARE instead of the word you needed: OR.
