You remember the good times that you had with your Dad. Think about all of the things that he taught you and how he influenced the person that you are today. My father is also gone. He died 9 years ago.

wow thats hard. well think about the good times you had together. This might sound weird, but pretend hes there right by your side and talk to him and stuff. just know he is watching over you and he is probably having a delightful fathers day up there. Happy fathers day.

P.S sorry your feeling sad, i know i would be terribly upset with this issue on my sholdiers.

It is a lot easier if you just remember all the wonderful things you and your father did together.
The times you shared are the precious gems you are left with.

I hope this helps. My father has been gone since 1983 and I still miss him very much.

my has passed long ago and my memory's of fishing, camping trapping lives on and on in my life today, the farming and hard worker that he was for a family of 11, believe it sure did take hard work and when he passed he left our home and funds enough to support us till we could on our own, and yes if people seen it they would say we were a poor family but we had riches we had love.

If you're old enough, perhaps you have a husband that you can celebrate father's day for? Or maybe a grandfather. I always get my grandfather a father's day gift, because he is, after all, someone's dad, too ^_^

I honor a man I never knew. His name was Howard and he knew I'd come around one day to thank him. We never met, sadly. And, the words fail me now. I'd ask him a question I really need to know the answer to. He gave the answer to someone, but she's too afraid to listen to it now.
