If you want to leave, then work and plan toward that goal. While you live with your partner, be friendly and considerate to make things easier for you both.
If the relationship is truly over, then you should also be going out and having a social life.

The best idea I can come up with if you both want the divorce then work together to get what you want. Of course both of you are working sharing you incomes with one another paying the bills together. Saving money together should be no problem. Affordable lawyers are in the paper all the time ranging from $200 dollars and up for an uncontested divorce. Come together and agree on some common ground. What you and he want to part with. plan about where your going to stay. With relatives, a friend, if you can afford the rent or payments where you are, etc, etc. If a child or children is involved take things slowly and with all things considered. In marriage there is give in take and in a divorce there is the same. It is a sacrifice and although neither of you want to work together it is got to happen.

Since your stuck together for financial reasons only & you both know it then just resolve your relationship to being "friends & roomies" for now. The love may have gone south but maybe you can keep the friendship civil until you can move out. Good Luck!

try to reinvest in relationship as other person said, but also prepare yourself -
get your finances in order even if it means drastically cutting back to the very basics - don't buy any books, mags, newspapers, coffees, donuts, nail treatments, unnecessary clothing, etc and put that money that you would have spent into a get out of jail fund.
if you don't have kids, get a second job for a while even if it is at minimum wage or see if you qualify for student loans and finish or go back to school for a better future
if you do have kids maybe take on some babysitting, cut back their expenses as well
Best Wishes

You need to decide what's best for you. Stay in a relationship that is pointless, and unlovable, or change your situation, and get on to your feet somehow financially. Whatever you think is best for you!!!
You need to figure out what's healthy for you!!!
I was once there- get out! there's no reason to stay with someone for financial sport!

This is something only you can answer. What do you want out of life?. It seems like you have already made your choice you are just waiting for the right time.

Try to reinvest...i know that it sounds silly but...try to talk like you did when you were dating...date again for that matter...try to recapture what was lost...you might be surprised.
