Screen saver switches back to Windows Welcome screen whenever it wants to. Is there a setting I need to find in another heading to keep " Pipes " saver going until I decide to go back to using computer? Sorry if this seems stupid and basic but it's all new to me!!! Thanks!

Well, if you right-click the desktop, click Properties, click the Screen Saver tab, there should be a "On resume, password protect" option you can uncheck. Then, it will take you back to what you were doing instead of the Welcome Screen when the screen saver ends.

But the screen saver itself shouldn't end until you hit the keyboard or move the mouse. The only thing I can think of is, do you have a wireless mouse? My wireless mouse seems to cause my cursor to jump around the screen from time to time, all on its own.

How ever Pipes will stop running on detection of mouse / touch pad etc movement or pressed key.

for further settings right-click a clear space on you desktop click properties on the pop up menu then click the screen save tab check or uncheck password or welcome screen (don't remember quite what it says in xp ) then click settings if you want to change the settings

yeah! right click the mouse when on the starting screen of the computer (wallpaper) and there should be a menu that pops up. Click properties at the bottom. Click Screen Saver on the above tabs and your should be able to fix it there.

Right click on an empty space on your desktop and choose properties. Go to the screen saver tab and click on the screen saver you are using and click settings and see what the settings are and what it will let you change.
